Ana Maria Cantu

Ms. Ana Maria Cantu passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Laredo, Texas at the age of 84.She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel Ramirez and Teofila Montemayor de Ramirez, husband Ernesto Cantu Sr., son Ernesto Cantu Jr., brothers Jose Ramirez, Bernardo (†Minerva) Ramirez, Eduardo (†Esther) Ramirez, and Faustino (†Irene) Ramirez.Ms. Cantu is survived by her daughter Carolina (Alonzo) Cantu, grandchildren Ariana, Ernesto, Enrique, Ernesto Alonzo, and Karina. She is also survived by her sisters Carmela Ramirez (†Manuel), Juanita Ramirez (†Jesus) and Ma. Inez (†Jose), sister-in-law Graciela Ramirez, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.Inurnment will be held at a later date.
