Benito Ortega Morales

Mr. Benito Ortega Morales passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the age of 87 in Laredo, Texas surrounded by his loving family.He is preceded in death by his daughter Maria De Los Angeles Ortega Vargas.Mr. Ortega Morales is survived by his beloved wife Teresa Vargas Nava, children Herminia (†Jose Francisco) Zamarripa Ortega, Francisco Ortega Vargas (Maria Guadalupe), Alma Reyna Ortega Vargas, Angel Ortega Vargas (San Juanita), Juan Ignacio Ortega Vargas (Rosanely), Hilda Ortega Vargas, and Laura Ortega Vargas. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to St. John Neumann Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m.Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
