Cristobal Cantu

Cristobal Cantu passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 in Laredo, Texas at the age of 91.He was preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Benita Cantu, brother Gilberto Cantu and his sisters Trinidad Romanos, Benita Quintana, and Apolonia Addison.Mr. Cantu is survived by his beloved wife Silvia Cantu, children Silvia L. (Arnoldo) Valdez, Cristobal Cantu Jr., Jacklyn Cantu, and Kenneth (Liza) Cantu and his grandchildren Zaid (Brittany), Aneida and Azalea Valdez, Cristobal G., and Matias Cantu. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home, 4402 E. Saunders, Laredo, TX 78041. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held Monday, October 26, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to Santo Niño Mission Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m.Interment will be held at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.In accordance with CDC safety precautions, we ask everyone attending funeral services to wear a mask and practice social distancing. There will be limited seating for services. For everyone’s safety please honor the family from a distance. We kindly thank you in advance.
