Guadalupe Castaño De Cruz

Guadalupe Castaño de Cruz, lovingly known as “Lupita” to her family and friend passed away peacefully on December 8th at the age of 79 in Laredo Texas. 

Lupita was a beloved mother, sister, and friend, whose warm and caring nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She was happily married for 54 years to her loving husband, Leonelo Cruz.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nicolás Castaño Pérez, and her mother, María del Pilar Flores Ayala. her siblings, Francisco Castaño, Hortencia Castaño, and Rosalinda Castaño de Villarreal.

Lupita is survived by her husband, Leonelo Cruz; her children, Idalia (Gerardo) González, Leonelo (Adriana) Cruz, and Karina (Raúl) Pérez; her grandchildren, Idalia González, Abigail González, Emiliano Cruz, Camila Cruz, Raúl Pérez II, Gael Pérez, and Regina Pérez; her great-granddaughters, Makayla Madrigal and Emma Madrigal; and her sibling, Víctor Castaño.
