Jose Antonio Ramos

In loving memory of a true hero, we gather to honor the life and legacy of a dedicated Marine veteran Jose Antonio Ramos who bravely served our country. He passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2024, at the age of 91 in Galveston, Texas. His unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms and values shaped not only his life but also the lives of those around him. 

He fought valiantly on the front lines, facing challenges that few could imagine, driven by a deep love for his country and an unbreakable spirit. His bravery in the face of adversity was matched only by his kindness and compassion for others. 

As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate within the hearts of his wife, children, and grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom, laughter, and the values of courage, honor, and respect.

Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will live on in the stories we share, the lessons he taught, and the love that binds us together as a family. Let us remember him not just for his service, but for the warmth he brought into our lives and the memories we created together.

As we say our goodbyes, we hold close the gratitude for his sacrifices and the love that will never fade. He is a hero in every sense of the word, and his memory will continue to inspire us to live boldly and cherish each day. Rest in peace, dear veteran; your watch has ended, but your legacy will forever endure in our hearts.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose Trinidad and Rita H. Ramos, and his son Jesus T. Ramos. 

Mr. Ramos is survived by his loving wife Maria De Jesus Ramos, children Jose Antonio (Elva) Ramos Jr., Nicolas (Angelina) Ramos, Rita Ramos, Ramon (Jessica) Ramos, and Victor Ramos. He is also survived by his brother Nicolas Ramos, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
