Manuela Soto Solano, 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 23, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family in Oilton, Texas.Melita as she was well known to many had a passion for cooking and owned a business in Oilton, Texas formally Mirando City, Texas named Red Barn Restaurant. Her passion was cooking for the public to make them feel at home. Above all, she was loved by many and will be dearly missed.She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Angel Solano; Son, Jose Alfredo Solano; Parents, Eluterio and Modesta Soto; Siblings, Jesus G. Soto, Oscar (Delia) Soto, and Nicolas Soto.Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children; Imelda (Ernesto) Laurel, Carmen (Gabriel) Esquivel, both of Oilton, Hector (Patricia) Solano, of San Antonio, Belinda (Ramiro) Garza, of Bruni, Carolina (Jose) Briseño, her children Daniela, Jose, and Jorge Briseño, of Oilton; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, other numerous nieces and nephews, sisters in law Maria C. Soto, of Agua Dulce and Carmen V.
