Mrs. Maria A. Hernandez passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Monday, January 31, 2022, in Laredo, Texas at the age of 86.She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Guadalupe Hernandez.Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her children Juan Carlos (Alma Rosa) Hernandez and Maria (Jesus) Guerra; grandchildren Jennifer (Fernando) Moncivais, Gelsey (Luis) Gordillo, Sarahi Guerra, Joyanely Guerra, Kathia Hernandez and Frida Hernandez, She is also survived by her brothers and sister Gisela Contreras, Manuel Contreras, Isaac Contreras, Transito Contreras, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
