Ms. Maria Del Carmen Gomez passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2024, surrounded by her family at her side at the age of 79 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Cruz Gomez, and her son Jose Manuel Gomez.

Ms. Gomez is survived by her loving children Maria Del Carmen (Enrique) Hernandez, Nancy Gomez (Raúl Alfredo Ramírez), Elizabeth Veronica (Jose David) Inguanzo, Jose Gomez (Herminia Perez), Carlos (Sandra) Gomez, Sergio Raúl Gomez, and Margarito Sonora. She is also survived by her sister Lourdes Rodriguez, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 12, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
