Mrs. Maria De Los Angeles Matta passed peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 69 in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Maria De Los Angeles Zamora.
Mrs. Matta is survived by her beloved husband Bernardo Matta, children Griselda Matta (Javier Estrada), Bernardo (Irene) Matta Jr., Maria Del Carmen (Carlos) Pineda, and Encarnacion J. Matta (Marissa Mendoza-Matta). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. and a catholic rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
