Mario Alexander Castro, 8, of Laredo, Texas, joined our Lord in his heavenly kingdom on Saturday, May 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Alejandro Salas, paternal great-grandfather Mario Gonzalez, and his maternal great-grandmothers Isabel Ramirez and Maria Teresa Barrera.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Ramiro, Jr. and Jasmine Alexis Castro, siblings Amber Jayleen Castro and Nathaniel Isaiah Castro. He is also survived by paternal great-grandmother Maria A. Gonzalez, maternal grandmother Nora Lydia Gloria, and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 12, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.
