Oscar Jay "OJ" Canales ("Fuzzy")

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Oscar Jay, “OJ” Canales, also known affectionately by his friends as “Fuzzy.” Oscar passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 33. He was a cherished son, brother, nephew, and friend whose caring nature, selflessness, and patience touched the lives of all who knew him. 

Oscar's strength was reflected in his unwavering kindness. He had an incredible ability to listen, offer support, and make everyone feel understood. His gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his family, who were blessed to have him by their side until the very end.

The family is grateful for the love and support they have received during this difficult time, and they take comfort in knowing Oscar Jay passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Oscar Canales, whose absence he deeply felt. His family takes comfort in knowing they are now reunited. 

Oscar Jay is survived by his loving mother, Anna Canales, and his siblings, Anna Christina Canales, Jacob Canales, & Aaliyah Canales. He is also survived by numerous other relatives.
