Rene Sauceda

Mr. Rene Sauceda passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the age of 61 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Sauceda was a J.W. Nixon High School graduate who was a standout football athlete, a four-year letterman and an all-district player. He was affectionately known as a Gentle Giant to all his nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.He is preceded in death by his parents Roberto and Angelina Sauceda, sister Thelma Garcia, brother Roberto Sauceda Jr., nephew Mario Suarez Jr. and his niece Lizzette Hinojosa.Mr. Sauceda is survived by his siblings Ricardo (Maria Luisa) Sauceda, Leticia (Dario) Gutierrez, Ruben (Leticia) Sauceda, Diana (Raul) Hinojosa, Vilma (Jesse James) Suarez and Roel (Monica) Sauceda. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041. A chapel service will be held at 11:30 a.m.Inurnment will be held at a later date.In accordance with CDC safety precautions, we ask everyone attending funeral services to wear a mask and practice social distancing. There will be limited seating for services. For everyone’s safety please honor the family from a distance.
