Roberto Candelario Reyes was called to Heaven’s gates on May 30th, 2022. He was born on February 2, 1940, to his beloved parents Francisco Perez and Maria Reyes. He was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his friends from La Plaza in downtown Laredo playing cards and dominos. He had a beautiful talent in drawing freehand, and was an electrician by trade in his younger years and worked for the San Antonio Electric Company in the early 60’s. He was a very family-oriented man and loved by many, he had this unique smirk that lighted up any room and anyone who crossed his path, he’d give them a nickname; this is what made him so extra special. The Lord received him in his glory, while we prayed for him in his last moments of life, he was surrounded by his wife and family who cared for him lovingly.St John 11:25 reads as follows, “Jesus said these words, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” It isn’t a goodbye, but until we meet again. Tío Beto siempre lo recordaremos y los gratos recuerdos se quedarán con nosotros siempre en el corazón.
