Rosa Ines Ortiz

Mrs. Rosa Ines Ortiz who was affectionately known to many as “Elenita” passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 in Laredo, Texas at the age of 71.She is preceded in death by her brothers Pedro Sanchez Lizarraga, Mario Rendon, Pedro Sanchez, sister Josefina Sanchez Lizarraga and her nephew Jorge Ortiz.Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her husband of 43 years of marriage Ricardo Ortiz, son, Christopher Ricardo Ortiz, and her grandson Issac George Ortiz. She is also survived by her sisters Maria del Refugio Sanchez Lizarraga, Elisea Sanchez Lizarraga, Maria del Socorro Sanchez Lizarraga, Maria Elena Sanchez Lizarraga, Francisca Sanchez Lizarraga, Domitila Sanchez Lizarraga, nieces Bertha Ortiz Sanchez and Rosa Ortiz, nephews Norberto Ortiz and Carlos Ortiz, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041. A vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:00 p.m.Interment will be held at the family plot in the Panteon Municipal de Quimichis Nayarit in Quimichis Nayarit, Mexico at a later date.In accordance with CDC safety precautions, we ask everyone attending funeral services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
